I am experimenting with how Art Journals are made and how I can implement them in the art classroom. This version has a USB drive attached with Velcro, for easy detachment and use.
We have all come across the concept of nesting bowls, but what of nesting plates? Plates made with air dry clay featuring a continuous design when stacked. Unstacked they feature four different designs.
Currently working on an ABC Book, that contains animals that are made up of only one set of shapes each. As seen in the photo above, H is a hedgehog, and made up of semicircles.
Next step is to paint them with watercolors, and bind them together to make a spectacular one-of-a-kind book. I can't wait to teach this as a lesson someday. :) Found this old children's encyclopedia at my local salvation army. When I got home I decided that I wanted to try something new that I had never done before. Make a sort of collage piece that would resemble being inside of a shadow box. Not bad for a first attempt. I do have to get better with my craftsmanship on this type of a project. :P |
